This isn’t a practical “how to stay warm” guide. I realised after I put this content together that I had left out some pretty important pieces like, I don’t know, outerwear. So, I bring you this blog post, it’s the equivalent to leaving your jacket at home even though your Mum has hassled you 1,000 times.
This is more a guide to show you how you don’t need to buy an entire new wardrobe every season. It’s all about finding pieces that effortlessly sync with your year-round go-to pieces.
This can be done numerous ways, but the way I like to do it is by assessing my classic / timeless pieces I current own and then introduce a few pieces that can reinvent them.
This season I will be wearing…
The easiest way to update your winter wardrobe this season is graphic t-shirts. They are quite often the cheapest of designer collections and they make every outfit instantly cool. Tommy Hilfiger, Guess, Gucci and a lot of high street brands have amazing graphic t-shirts at the moment.
If you have been following me a while, you will notice I reinvent outfits with jewellery. I am a huge fan of a casual outfit, brought together by a sophisticated pair of (gold) earrings. They instantly polish off an otherwise casual outfit.
A bag can really change the dynamics of an outfit. It’s all about hardware choices and finishes. This season I am loving chains and buckles, as well as monogrammed pieces – nothing beats something that is personalised.
