I have always flirted with the idea of living in Paris, even just for a little while. While my love of croissants, cheap (good) red wine, French style and neoclassical architecture will always remain, my heart always ends up sending me back home. It may be a while until my next visit, so in the meantime I’m taking notes from architect Joseph Dirand’s stunning renovation, and trying to incorporate a little bit of that Parisian sophistication into my own home. I love the neutral palette, mixed textures (that marble!) and the minimalist, mid-century furnishings.
