Now more than ever, fashion has asserted itself as doing much more than just looking pretty. The latest example exists in the tech world thanks to Apple’s newly introduced RED Special Edition iPhone 7. As most people know, RED was founded by Bono and Bobby Shriver in hopes of creating a generation completely free from the AIDS virus. They’ve worked tirelessly over the last decade with amazing partners such as Alessi, Beats by Dre, Le Creuset and of course Apple to generate over 465 million USD to support The Global Fund which helps to finance HIV/AIDS grants in Ghana, Kenya, Lesotho, Rwanda, South Africa, Swaziland, Tanzania, and Zambia.
With the launch of the (PRODUCT)RED iPhone 7 Plus, Apple will add one more product to it’s inventory of RED pieces (Apple Watch Sports Band, iPhone cases, iPod touch, iPad smart cover, etc). Having raised over $100 million so far, the iPhone 7 Plus is just the tip of the iceberg for spreading awareness worldwide of such an incredible cause.
