I always loved the idea of creating sculptures and installation pieces while I was studying Fine Arts. Anything that plays with light and form would usually be at the top of my inspiration list, and I was always on a quest to find off cuts of marble, glass, and perspex that could be used for experimental projects. While my studying days might be over, I’m always happy to discover new artists and get my creative juices flowing again.
These sculptures are the work of Katharina Eisenkoeck, an Austrian designer currently based in London. Her practice involves everything from furniture design to the creation of stunning objects like these – pairing aesthetics with functionality.
