Early morning light exploring the streets of Marrakech a few weeks ago. I absolutely adored the souk (markets) and made every possible excuse to walk through them each day, being greeted by familiar faces and sharing mint tea with the sweetest vendors by the end of our trip. Inside the souk you will find everything from my favourite wedding blankets and colourful carpets, spices, lanterns, jewellery, vegetables and much more the further you venture in. The souk seems busy throughout the day, but once the sun sets and crowds gather in the main square we suddenly realised that late evening is when the hustle and bustle really begins.
