Emmy award-winning costume designer (Black Is King), superstar stylist, and founding father of Black Owned Every part, Zerina Akers is thought for her use of daring colours and patterns. Akers, who says she shopped at Marshalls in highschool, says the partnership was a no brainer.
“Again then, having that type of entry to nice pricing [at Marshalls] as I used to be discovering my model — and now as a stylist utilizing Marshalls as a useful resource to search out issues like jewellery — [this partnership] was an important alternative to have my full circle second,” Akers instructed Refinery29.
For spring/summer season 2024, Akers is investing in vivid colours, metallics, and fascinating denim. As such, her style must-haves embody a tropical-printed swimsuit, floral-patterned clothes and matching units, and an elegant summer season blazer.
