The off the shoulder trend has no sign of slowing down, and it seems a seasonal change isn’t going to ruin its plans on being worn all year round.

Updating your favourite trend with a fabrication switch – hello knitwear! – is going to ease you into Autumn Winter while still enabling you to squeeze the last remaining fun out of summer dressing… ie. showing a little skin.

Mixing it up between incorporating the trend in either a top or dress is going to keep this look fresh. Going for a ¾ crop will lengthen and flatter, with the only skin on a show a balance between the collarbones and ankles.

As someone that is a believer that you can be your sexiest by showing pretty much nothing (read nothing not everything), balancing out by exposing the collarbone while covering up elsewhere is my idea of the perfectly executed chic but sexy look.

As for accessories, I prefer to keep the neckline clean, opting for an earring over a necklace and if possible choosing a bag that doesn’t have a shoulder strap so that it won’t interfere with the horizontal lines across the shoulder.
