Stuck for outfit inspiration this weekend?
These are a few of my fail-safe favourites for a casual daytime look (read: brunch attire).
1. The Cable Knit
Even more so now that it’s quite freezing in Sydney. A simple, ivory cable knit looks great with denim, and it’s super comfortable too. This one is by Rag & Bone (similar here), next on my list is a fisherman knit by &Daughter.
2. The Structured Tee
I’m so obsessed with this Bassike top that I have it in two colours. While it retains the comfort of a classic white t-shirt, the jersey fabrication gives it a bit more shape – the raw edge on this one also makes it a favourite. Perfect to dress up the classic denim and sneaker combo.
Similar styles here and here.
The weekend essential. My personal favourites are boyfriend jeans and a slightly distressed skinny leg. Opt for a classic blue, navy, black or white.
Always sneakers. I’m under the personal belief that you can never have too many pairs. These Nike Frees are probably my most-loved, for both comfort and aesthetics. I also a big fan of Adidas Stan Smiths and Supergas.
5. The White Shirt
One of my outfit staples. While it does make a regular appearance during office hours, I’m partial to wearing most styles on the weekend too. The Equipment Signature cut is a favourite, as are Acne’s oversized styles this classic style by Dress Up.
6. The Flat Boot
Flat leather boots are not only comfortable and hard-wearing, but they look also look great with just about everything . I have been wearing this style by Seed with skinny jeans and an oversized shirt, or with a sweater dress and tights.
